Soilbuild REIT FY2015 and Q4 FY2015 Results


Soilbuild Business Space Reit distribution per unit (DPU) for the fourth quarter rose 1.8 per cent to 1.614 Singapore cents, buoyed by higher income.

Its DPU in the year-ago quarter stood at 1.585 Singapore cents.Net property income rose 17.1 per cent to S$17.5 million for the three months ended Dec 31, 2015, on the back of higher rental revenue, and as the gain in operating expenses was slower than that of revenue.

Also officially appointed Roy Teo as chief executive officer. He had been acting CEO since Aug 3, 2015.

Highlights are:
  • DPU for the second quarter of this year climbed to 1.849 Singapore cents which is 7.3% higher than that in Q2 2014.
  • 14.3% gain in distributable income to S$11.76 million over the same period.
  • Net property income jumped 19.3 per cent to S$12.2 million and gross revenue expanded 17.1% to S$17.82 million.
  • Proposed acquisition of a property at 30 Pioneer Road.



Summary

Looks like the acquisition of Jackson Square and Jackson Design Hub have really paid off. I am considering to add more into my holding before the ex-date since the price hasn't risen much even though Viva Industrial Trust has been doing quite well. I am not sure if I have miss something but feel free to let me know if there is. 

First REIT Q2 2015 Results


First Real Estate Investment Trust (SGX: AW9U) released its second-quarter earnings report yesterday evening. The reporting period was from 1 April 2015 to 30 June 2015. As for today, I am still holding a small position and continuously taking up the DRP.

As per 31 October, Soilbuild REIT had acquired 61 & 71 Tuas Bay Drive properties for $55.7 million which comprises of
  1. Purchase consideration of $55 million
  2. Estimated transaction costs of $0.7 million

Keppel Data Centre REIT Set for IPO



Keppel Telecommunications & Transport seeking approval from shareholder at an extraordinary general meeting on November 25 to list Kepple DC REIT on December 12. The offering is estimated at $811 million which will include Keppel Digihub, Keppel Datahub 1, Gore Hill Data Centre and Citadel 100 Data Centre.

REITs Band Together To Form New Industry Body


Several real estate investment trusts (REITs) have banded together to form an association - the Reit Association of Singapore (Reitas) - to promote the growth of Singapore's Reit sector. It will be headed by a nine-member executive committee, comprising representatives from some of the major Reits and sponsors such as Mapletree, CapitaLand, Frasers and Keppel.
