Soilbuild REIT FY2015 and Q4 FY2015 Results

Soilbuild Business Space Reit distribution per unit (DPU) for the fourth quarter rose 1.8 per cent to 1.614 Singapore cents, buoyed by higher income.

Its DPU in the year-ago quarter stood at 1.585 Singapore cents.Net property income rose 17.1 per cent to S$17.5 million for the three months ended Dec 31, 2015, on the back of higher rental revenue, and as the gain in operating expenses was slower than that of revenue.

Also officially appointed Roy Teo as chief executive officer. He had been acting CEO since Aug 3, 2015.

Viva Industrial Trust Q2 Results 2015

DPU - $0.01849
Yield - 9.3%
NAV - $0.83
Gearing - 38.9%
Current price - $0.8

Highlights are:

• DPU for the second quarter of this year climbed to 1.849 Singapore cents which is 7.3% higher than that in Q2 2014.
• 14.3% gain in distributable income to S$11.76 million over the same period.
• Net property income jumped 19.3 per cent to S$12.2 million and gross revenue expanded 17.1% to S$17.82 million.
• Proposed acquisition of a property at 30 Pioneer Road.

Summary

Looks like the acquisition of Jackson Square and Jackson Design Hub have really paid off. I am considering to add more into my holding before the ex-date since the price hasn't risen much even though Viva Industrial Trust has been doing quite well. I am not sure if I have miss something but feel free to let me know if there is.

Soilbuild Business Space REIT Q3 2014 Results

I look a small position in SoilBuild Business Space REIT (S3VU) before the 3rd quarter results and it turned out to be pretty well for the quarter. So the 3rd quarter outperformance against the forecast mainly due to combination of higher revenue, partial income from the recently acquired Tellus Marine and lower property expenses due to lower maintenance costs for multi-tenanted properties.

A Foolish Way To Begin With

As I started out investing in a foolish way by just blindly following leads from articles and thinking that I could simply do contra trading (buy & sell before settlement date) to make some quick bucks. Somehow I did manage to make some money but they were quick dissolved when Fed Chairwoman Janet Yellen announced Fed's tapering resulting in market reaction of a downwards trend.
